Faculty of Law hosts a seminar on constitutionalism, populism, and the judiciary in honor of José Tudela Aranda
On 10 March 2026, the Faculty of Law at UAB hosted the seminar “Constitutionalism, Populism, and the Judiciary: Case Studies”, organized in honor of Professor José Tudela Aranda.
The event brought together various specialists to analyze the impact of populism on the judiciary and its implications for the rule of law, combining comparative analysis with academic debate.
The program featured participation from Dr. Joan Lluís Pérez-Francesch (UAB), Dr. Roberto Viciano Pastor (University of Valencia), and Dr. Alfredo Ramírez Nárdiz (UAB), as well as academics from the University of Cádiz and the University of Barcelona.
The seminar concluded with a tribute to Professor José Tudela Aranda, recognizing his career as a constitutional scholar and his contribution to the defense of the rule of law.
