The free conference “The Legal Protection of Patients in the Age of Smart Healthcare” will take place on 24 November 2026 at the ICAB (Multipurpose Room on the 8th floor, 283 Mallorca Street, Barcelona), in both in-person and hybrid formats.

The conference “La tutela jurídica del pacient en l’era de la sanitat intel·ligent” will take place on November 24 at ICAB (Sala polivalent, 8th floor, c. Mallorca, 283, Barcelona), in both in-person and hybrid formats.

The conference will bring together experts from different areas of law to analyse the main challenges arising from the digital transformation of healthcare, especially in relation to artificial intelligence, European Health Data Space, health insurance, consumer protection and the liability arising from smart healthcare services.

The event is part of the R+D+I IA JURISSALUD project, dedicated to the study of the legal challenges arising from implementation of predictive artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector.
