Conference “Artificial Intelligence and Law”

On Thursday, 25 June, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the conference “Artificial Intelligence and Law”, organised by the Faculty of Law, will take place in the María Soteras Courtroom.
The activity aims to create a space for reflection and discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence in the legal field, with special attention to the teaching of Law and the use of AI in evidence assessment processes.
The conference will be structured into two sessions. The first one, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will consist of the seminar “AI and Legal Education”, a working and discussion session on the use of artificial intelligence in legal teaching.
The second session, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature the lecture “Use of AI for Evidence Assessment: Parallels from Adjudication”, delivered by Dr Agustín Barroilhet Díez from the University of Chile.
The activity is organised by Jakob Fortunat Stagl, from the Roman Law area, and Rafael Arenas García, from the Private International Law area.
