1st Private Law Congress: “Private Law in the Face of New Technological Challenges”

The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona will hold the 1st Private Law Congress on June 18, 2026, under the title “Private Law in the Face of New Technological Challenges”, at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law.

The conference will address the main legal challenges arising from digitalization and artificial intelligence in different areas of private law, featuring specialized presentations on AI applied to healthcare, personal rights, property law, and commercial and procedural law.

The congress is organized by the UAB Department of Private Law in collaboration with the research project IA JURISSALUD - Legal Challenges in the Application of Predictive AI in the Healthcare Sector.

The event will take place in a hybrid format, although prior registration will be required to participate.
