The Faculty of Law of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is organizing a new session within the Café#IA seminar series, titled “Why GPUs Power Modern Artificial Intelligence”.

The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Negin Mahani (Senior Research Engineer, Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), who will explore the technological foundations that enable the development of contemporary artificial intelligence systems.

This activity is part of the Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Law, and is primarily aimed at its students. However, the seminar is open to the entire university community.

The session offers an excellent opportunity to better understand the infrastructure underlying AI systems and to foster interdisciplinary dialogue between law and technology.

Attendance is free, subject to room capacity.
