The Faculty of Law welcomes the formation of the project "Youth for Youth" in Helsinki Spain

The Faculty of Law of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona collaborates with the NGO Helsinki Spain in the 2025-26 edition of "Jóvenes para Jóvenes: Educando en Derechos Humanos y ODS", a youth education and volunteering program with more than two decades of experience in Spain and an international presence.

The project, funded with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, trains university students to act as awareness agents in educational centers, transmitting values of equality, inclusion and culture of peace to children and adolescents between 5 and 17 years old.

Open call for UAB students

Young people between 18 and 30 years old who are studying any degree, FP, master's degree or doctorate can participate. The program is not limited to students of the Faculty of Law: the call is open to the entire university community on campus.

Participation is divided into two phases:

The first consists of a week of intensive and free training that will take place from April 20 to 24 in Room 13 of the Faculty of Law (UAB). Participants will receive training in human rights, SDGs, gender equality, democracy and citizen participation, sustainability, mental health and cybersecurity, taught by specialized professionals.

The second phase consists of volunteering in schools: university students trained as couples attend four 45-minute sessions in primary and secondary classrooms, with interactive dynamics adapted to each educational stage.
