Café#IA: GDPR-compliant AI-based automated decision-making in the world of work

As part of the Master's on IA and Digital Law, the Faculty of Law of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is hosting a new session of the Café#IA programme, dedicated to the legal implications of artificial intelligence in employment contexts.

The session, delivered by Dr. Szilvia Váradi (University of Szeged), will examine the use of AI-based automated decision-making systems in the workplace, with a focus on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It will address key issues such as transparency, accountability, and the protection of workers’ rights.
