Reflection Space: “The European Union, today”

The Sant Raimon de Penyafort Private Foundation organizes a new session of the Reflection Space dedicated to analyze the current moment of the European Union from a legal and institutional perspective.

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 6.30 p.m., in Room 1 of the Training Center of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).

The session will have an outstanding participation of teachers from the Faculty of Law:

• Dr. Joan Lluís Pérez Francesch, professor of Constitutional Law and member of the Institute of European Studies of the UAB.
• Dr. Gregori Garzón Clariana, Professor of Public International Law (UAB), retired, and former jurisconsult of the European Parliament.
• Dr. Esther Zapater Duque, Professor of Public International Law and International Relations and Secretary General of the UAB.

The day will include an introductory presentation, a round table and an open discussion with the attendees.

This activity constitutes a relevant opportunity to deepen the current challenges of European integration and strengthen the link between the Faculty of Law, the IURISLAB of the faculty, and the legal institutions of the country.
