Seminar: Anatomy of a sentence on discrimination by ethnic origin in the CJEU

The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona organizes the seminar “Anatomy of a sentence: discrimination by ethnic origin in the STJUE of December 18, 2025 (case C-417/23, Slagelse Almennyttige Boligselskab)”, which will be taught by Dr. Cristian Oró Martínez, jurist of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The seminar will offer a detailed analysis of the legal reasoning of the CJEU in this recent ruling, as well as its implications in the application of the principle of equal treatment and the fight against discrimination by ethnic origin in the field of European Union law.
