Applications are now open for a 48-month FPI predoctoral contract linked to the project “Policies and Governance for a Just Transition to Electric and Connected Vehicles” (PID2024-155223OB-C21), coordinated by Óscar Molina, Director of the IET.
The project aims to analyse the governance mechanisms shaping the transition to electric and connected vehicles, as well as its impact on the inequalities associated with this process.
The position is aimed at candidates with research experience, particularly in the fields of employment relations, collective bargaining and just transition.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Political Science, Economics or Law.
- Official Master’s degree in Sociology, Political Science, Employment Relations or a related field.
Skills and experience::
- Research experience in employment relations, including participation in research projects and scientific publications.
- Experience with interviews or other qualitative and/or quantitative research methods (specific training will be provided during the PhD).
- Strong written and spoken English skills for academic writing and presentations.
- Familiarity with data analysis software (Stata, R, Atlas.ti, NVivo, etc.).
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
