Mines of Gavà

UAB

The UAB Archaeology and Palaeontology Campus-Mines de Gavà, created in November 2015, is the result of a collaboration between the Gavà City Council and the UAB, which since 1995 have been working together in the field of research into the first farming societies of Catalonia, and since 2011 have offered fieldwork placements for UAB students of the bachelor's degree in Archaeology.

The headquarters of the Archaeology Park of the Mines de Gavà is part of the Museum of Gavà, which promotes activities in heritage assessment and contributes to the economic, social and cultural development of the area.
