Cervelló Castle

The archaeological site of the UAB Archaeology Campus at Cervelló Castle was inaugurated in February 2022, as a result of a collaboration between the Cervelló City Council and the UAB, which began in June 2018. It is a 9th century castle - initially made of wood - which undergoes a series of reforms, until 1714 when it is destroyed as a result of the siege of the city of Barcelona.
