In this 2021 Seminar Series, BCNUEJ Lab's doctoral students will present their researches on different areas related to Urban Environmental Justice and Sustainability.
Nick Martin is a doctoral researcher within the Sustainable Energy Transitions Laboratory (SENTINEL) team at the Institute of Environmental Science & Technology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (ICTA-UAB). His research is focussed on climate and energy policy, particularly within the field of renewable energy transitions. Prior to commencing this research, he worked within the BCNUEJ team as a data and GIS analyst on the GREENLULUS project.
Prior to his studies at ICTA-UAB, Nick obtained a bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Queensland in Brisbane and worked for over 15 years in a variety of engineering positions, specialising in flood and tidal modelling, development control and hazard planning.
