Detalls de l'event

The European project “Food Systems in European Cities” (FoodE) involving ICTA-UAB researchers is organising its FoodE Winter School "Sustainability Assessment of City-Region Food Systems".

Date: February 24th, 25th and 26th
Time: (9:00 - 13:00 / 14:00 - 18:00)

Registration is now open here

The FoodE Winter School "Sustainability Assessment of City-Region Food Systems" aims to provide insight to early-career researchers (PhD Students, Master's Students and everyone interested) on how to analyze the 3 sustainability dimensions of City-Region Food Systems.

FoodE is financed under Horizon 2020, the European Union Research and Innovation Framework Programme (2014-2020) and will run for four years.

Firstly, FoodE will engage with local, citizen-led communities, identify success stories, and bridge these for knowledge exchange. Secondly, FoodE will launch 15 pilot projects with local partners in 12 European cities/regions (Napoli, Bologna, Sabadell, Tenerife, Amsterdam, Lansingerland, Berlin, Oslo, Longyearbyen, Romainville, Iasi, Ljubljana) and assess their outcomes for possible replicability in other circumstances.

Due to the high number of registrations, the number of participants might be limited. Registrations are still open but a final decision on your participation in the Winter School will be made by February 16th and communicated to you via mail.

If the number of participants is extremely high, we will consider repeating the school in a few months to allocate all the participants that are not included in this month edition.
