University Master's Degree in European Integration

This master's degree has been awarded the new distinction as an International Master's Programme (IMP) by the Government of Catalonia.

The master's degree in European Integration continues the UAB's tradition of offering top-level graduate studies on European Integration and takes a multidisciplinary approach (political science, economics, law and international relations), while at the same time allowing a certain specialisation depending on students' prior training and preferences. The master's degree has a policy of exchanges and joint programmes with other universities. The main example of this is the dual degree programme with the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole (Toulouse-France) and with the Renmin University of China (Beijing-China).

Career options

This academic and professional specialisation in European studies responds to an increasing social demand for specialists in the field of European issues, both in public administrations and in the private sector. That is, career options are in public administration (town councils and other tiers of local government, European Union institutions and international organisations), in non-governmental organisations and in the private sector (law, business, banking, etc.).

Furthermore, this master's degree serves as a basis for research and teaching staff training in European studies, since students who complete the master's degree can aspire to work in research centres or begin a professional career within the university.
