The report of the FAS allows for accountability and helps to publicize the impact of the actions of the Foundation's programs. It reviews the main activities that the programs have developed and their results. In addition, the memory gives voice to some of the protagonists who have collaborated.
As they write in the presentation of the document, Ester Zapater, general secretary of the UAB, and Jordi Prat, director, "the 2020-2021 academic year was marked by the consequences of the pandemic". That above all has had an impact on the organization of activities since many have not been able to be carried out or have had to adapt. Also in the substantial increase of students who have come to PIUNE with mental health problems. Despite the restrictions, 1273 people benefited from the programs with the collaboration of 197 volunteers.
Prat and Zapater wanted to dedicate their memory to Professor Arcadi Oliveres, who left us in April 2021, as "a way to pay a small tribute to the one who was the president of the FAS Advisory Council".
