ONCE-CRUE Foundation Internship Scholarships new selection process
Within the UAB’s scholarship programs, this year’s selection process of the beneficiaries of the ONCE-CRUE Foundation Internship has commenced.

The ONCE-CRUE Foundation Internship is a scholarship program for university students with any functional diversity. Its aim is to promote a 3-month academic internship among these students, offering the students a first work experience that can contribute to their professional career and job opportunities.
The program’s application period began on 3 December 2021 and the deadline for the universities to select the beneficiaries is on 28 February 2022.
At the UAB, the PIUNE, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Services, is the one in charge of selecting the scholarship students and of choosing their supervisor. The first step of the process is the preselection of the applicants, followed by their interviews in order to get to the final selection. Several factors are taken into account during the process, such as the employment situation, a previous experience in the field, the level of integration, and availability, among others. The PIUNE also facilitates the contact between the students and the companies. Moreover, it upholds this relationship with both the student and the company, during and after the internship period, in order to conduct a follow-up and make the corresponding assessment.
