Role-playing and board games at the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives
From October 21 to 30, new edition of sessions of role-playing and board games, organized by the UAB Role-Playing Club and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives and open to the entire university community.
The UAB Role-Playing Club (CRUAB) and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives are continuing their collaboration for another academic year, bringing you a selection of role-playing game sessions.
Are you ready for spooky season? If you’re looking for thrills, you’re in luck, because horror will be one of the main themes of this edition: cosmic horror, paranormal activity, haunted forests... as well as games based on contemporary collaborative fiction phenomena such as the SCP and samosbor.
This time, we’re also adding board game sessions! We’re kicking off this new format with Wingspan, a strategy game about ornithology.
The sessions will take place between October 21 and 30 in the Training Room (floor -1) of the library. Both morning and afternoon sessions will be available!
Each game is a short adventure (one-shot), designed to last between 3 and 4 hours. It will be led by a CRUAB game master. The characters are pre-generated.
The games are suitable for beginners: everyone is welcome, whether or not you have previous experience with role-playing games. You don’t need to bring any materials!
Places are limited and registration is required! Check out the scheduled games and their descriptions, and sign up for the one that interests you most.
Do you have any doubts? Write to us at bib.comunicacio@uab.cat.
