This summer, the Humanities Library presents four exhibitions that invite visitors to reflect, discover, and engage in dialogue between artistic creation, critical thinking, and academic research.

In the Periodicals Room display case, visitors can explore "Out of Frame: Fanzines from the Margins", an exhibition created by students enrolled in the course Introduction to Feminist Genealogies, a first-year subject in the Bachelor's Degree in Gender Sociocultural Studies. Coordinated by professors Joanna Empain and Alícia Rodríguez Campi, the exhibition features a selection of fanzines that explore perspectives and narratives emerging from social, cultural, and political margins.

In the display case on the library’s ground floor, the exhibition "Antoni Simon i Tarrés and the Renewal of Modern Historiography" pays tribute to historian Antoni Simon i Tarrés on the occasion of his retirement. The exhibition highlights his academic career and his contribution to the renewal of modern history studies.

The display stands located next to the elevator host "IspirART", a bibliographic exhibition featuring a selection of works dedicated to art and artistic techniques.

Finally, the images displayed along the library ramp are brought to life with "Pride", an exhibition of digital collages created by Neus Requena. The works celebrate diversity and the affirmation of LGBTQIA+ identities, transforming this transitional space into a place of visibility and artistic expression.

The Humanities Library invites the entire university community to visit these exhibitions and enjoy a summer programme that combines research, memory, creativity, and social commitment.
