Feminist Role-Playing Days at the Library
Between March 17 and 20, new edition of sessions of tabletop role-playing games, organized by the UAB Role Playing Club and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives and open to the entire university community.
The UAB Role-Playing Club (CRUAB) and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives join the commemoration of March 8, International Women’s Day, by offering new tabletop role-playing sessions with a gender perspective as their guiding thread.
The five sessions place female characters at the centre and invite you to explore how identity is created and how stereotypes can be subverted. In addition, some of the systems we will use have been designed by female creators. Adventure, magic, satire, humour… and more advocacy than ever!
Each session is a short adventure (oneshot), designed to last between 3 and 4 hours. It will be led by a member of the UAB Role Playing Club. The characters are already pre-designed.
The sessions will take place on specific dates, between March 17 and 20, in Library Training Room, on floor -1. There are morning and afternoon sessions!
The level of the games is introductory: everyone is welcome, whether they have RPG experience or not. No need to bring any material!
Places are limited and registration is required! Check the scheduled sessions and sign up for the one that interests you the most.
