Abstract:

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Trends in Biochemical Sciences (TIBS), Lynn Kamerlin and Salvador Ventura, members of the journal's Advisory Board, share their reflections on the evolution and future of protein science. They also highlight the role that TIBS has played, and will continue to play, in promoting scientific dissemination.
