Tribute to Guillem Vich Callejo
On December 20, 2022 at 11:30h the Sala de graus of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will host the tribute ceremony to the scientist Guillem Vich Callejo, who left us last November 10.
On November 10, Guillem Vich Callejo left us. Guillem did his PhD at the Department of Geography, (Mobility, Transport and Territory Studies Group), where he also worked as a teacher. His colleagues from GEMOT, ISGlobal and the Department of Geography of the URV have joined forces to organize the tribute to Guillem.
The meeting will begin with welcoming remarks by Margarita Freixas, dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Anna Badia, director of the Department of Geography at the UAB. This will be followed by several of Guillem's colleagues in the three places where he developed his work as a scientist and academic. Carme Miralles, Vice Rector of Campus, Sustainability and Territory will act as master of ceremonies of the event.
At the end of the speeches, a small snack will be offered in front of the Graus Hall.
