Inaugural session of the 17th edition of Official master's degree in Territorial Studies and Planning
On September 27, 2022, the Inaugural Session of the Master will take place at 4:00 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Program of the Inaugural Session.
16:00h Presentation of the core project by Anna Badia, director of the Department of Geography, and Jordi Nadal, coordinator of the Master.
16:20h Inaugural conference "Mobility policies in the city of Barcelona" by Silvia Casorrán (assistant to the chief architect of the Ajuntament de Barcelona).
18h Presentation and explanation of the project and its area of study, by Professor Àngel Cebollada.
Since last year, the master's program has focused on activities applied to daily mobility in a metropolitan environment. Last year, with the title "The UAB Campus and its territorial fit", located in the analysis on the UAB Campus. This year the title is "Active mobility in metropolitan environments. Analysis and planning for an integrated bicycle policy" and the scope of the study will focus on a metropolitan area. The municipalities that integrate it are Montcada i Reixac, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Ripollet, Badía del Vallés and Barberà del Vallès, all of them within the first metropolitan crown of Barcelona.
