From 22 to 24 October 2025, Valencia hosted the 7th Congress of the International Society for Hispanic Digital Humanities, where several UAB researchers presented innovative projects in the field of digital humanities, covering topics such as literature from the Spanish Republican exile, the digital edition of Golden Age theatre, and cultural heritage preservation.
Opening of the ProjectAR-TE Exhibition

On 5 April, the opening of the exhibition Centre Mèdic Distòpic InterSalut took place at the Sala Tarot de Quinze of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. This is the first exhibition produced as part of the ProjectAR-TE contest, organised by the UAB Department of Art and Musicology.

Professor Adrià Martín Mor, a specialist in the minority languages of Sardinia and translation technologies, has produced a music CD and hosts a television programme to disseminate his research and raise awareness about the preservation of the linguistic heritage of the Sardinian island.
Virtual Exhibition on Korean Potters Captured in 17th-Century Japan

On 7 June 2022, a new online ceramics exhibition was curated by the project "Aftermath of the East Asian War of 1592-1598" from the Department of Translation, Interpreting and East Asian Studies at UAB. "Stories of Clay: Discovering Choson Korean Potters in Tokugawa Japan" explores the experiences of various groups of Korean potters who were captured and taken to Japan following the devastating Imjin War of 1592-1598.
SO-CLOSE: a project giving a voice to refugees to support social integration

Researchers at UAB are conducting the SO-CLOSE project to combat the stigmatization of refugees and asylum seekers and to promote their integration into host communities through the design of technological and digital tools aimed at all audiences, organisations, and institutions.
