Bruna Alvarez gave the welcoming conference for first-year students of the Degrees in Anthropology, Socio-Cultural Gender Studies and Philosophy, an event organized by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Arts of the UAB.

Last February, Jordi Grau Rebollo, professor in the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. Congratulations!

The IndiRec scholarships are open, aimed at Master's and Doctoral students from the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the UAB.

Victoria Reyes García, professor at the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) and researcher at the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB), has been awarded the Rei Jaume I Prize in the Environmental Protection category.
