Since Monday 9 March you can already visit at the Exhibit Hall of The Agora Building (R Building) the works of art made by more than 50 young people facing measures involving deprivation of liberty in the education centre Can Llupià during last year. The exhibit "Jo també sóc del barri" ("I also come from the neighbourhood") has been possible thanks to the intervention of Alter Krapp, the volunteers of the Programme for Justice by the UAB Solidarity Foundation (FAS) and the young people participating. You can visit the exhibit until 30 April.

With the objective of knowing in depth the exhibit and its leading participants, the UAB Solidarity Foundation organises an opening event on Wednesday 25 March from 12 noon to 1:30 pm at the UAB Theatre (The Agora Building) and the entire university community is invited to attend.

The event will hold a round table: "How a creative painting workshop allows to show the reality of young people in a juvenile justice centre", in which the following people will be participating: Joaquim Clavaguera, general manager of penal execution in the community and juvenile justice of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Sara Martínez, coordinator of the FAS Programme for Justice; Roser Fernández, coordinator of the teaching staff of the educative centre Can Llupià and Andrea Noferini/Alter Krapp, artist and professor at the UAB. The round table will be followed by a guided visit of the exhibit and an informal exchange of opinions and impressions.
