The #TechPartyUAB brings together professional and amateur video gamers, and people interested in new technologies, innovation and social networks. The event is organized by the School of Engineering’s Student Council together with the Community Involvement Unit.

The event comprises several video gaming competitions, including the eastern regional final of the national OG Series University tournament, featuring the League of Legends and the Hearthstone games this year, broadcast live, on 21 and 22 April.

This tournament was created in 2015 by the website of competitive video gaming OG Series, which seeks to promote eSports among university students and create a network of video games fans, so they can compete while enjoying this technology.

The programme of the event includes a broadcasted Clash Royale tournament, lectures about eSports, mini-games and role-playing games competitions, and a lecture on computer games development.

On the first day of the #TechPartyUAB, there will be a round-table conference on YouTubers with the collaboration of Androimers, who will share his keys to Internet success and entertain those present at the Clash Royale tournament.
