Estudiants
University students will be spending 15 weeks in Barcelona, taking classes at Casa Convalescència and at the Eixample Campus, under the Pre-Established Programme of the Specific Programmes for International Students.

17/01/2017

The Pre-Established modality offers formative stays in which the students follow subjects taught in Spanish or English and have the option to take Spanish and Catalan language lessons. At the end of the stay, they receive a UAB certificate which can be validated for credit at their home university.

The number of 950 students this year establishes a record enrollment for the Pre-Established programme, which has experienced a steady annual increase: 34%, 27% and 11% since 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively.

Of the 950 new students starting this January, 60% are taking language lessons in Spanish and Catalan, being the most popular subjects related to economics and marketing.

In terms of nationality, the three top countries with the highest number of students are the United States, Germany and China. Overall, there are more than 10 countries represented in the Pre-Established Programme, such as Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Singapore, Sweden and Taiwan.

The students will finish their stay on 27 April.
