Services at the UAB campus from 23 December to 6 January

The UAB closes all of its education centres from 23 December 2020 to 6 January 2021. Some services however will be running under special opening hours.

The UAB security services will be working 24 hours a day, every day, and can be reached at 93 581 25 25. The health assistance services will be closed; for any medical emergencies please call the emergency number 112.

The internal bus service will not be operative during these two weeks. For information on how to arrive to the campus, please check the mobility and transport website www.uab.cat/accessibilitat-transports. The post office, Correos, will be open from Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed on holidays, as well as on 24 and 31 December.

All libraries will closed except for the Social Sciences Library (Floors -2 and -3), which will be open on 23 and 24 December, from 28 to 31 December and on 4 and 5 January, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Users Support of the Computer Services will be available (93 581 21 00, cas@uab.cat) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 23 and 24 December, from 28 to 31 December and on 4 and 5 January. With regard to photocopy services, all photocopy machines will be working and the reprography office at the Plaça Cívica will be open on workdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The General Register Office, in the Rectorat building, will be open on an appointment-only basis all workdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (93 581 20 29, registre.general@uab.cat).
 

Another service that will be open is the Physical Activity Service (SAF) from 8:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on 23, 28, 29 and 30 December, and on 4 and 5 January. Opening hours on 24 and 31 December will be from 8:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. An appointment is necessary to enter the SAF building.
