Francesc Gómez Valls, a professor at our School, has been recognized by the College of Economists of Catalonia with the distinction of Professor of the Year 2026 of the Economics Classroom of the College of Economists of Catalonia.

The Governing Board of the College of Economists of Catalonia, in its meeting
held on May 14, unanimously agreed to appoint Francesc Gómez Valls, professor of our Faculty of Economics and Business, as Professor of the Year 2026 of the Economics Classroom of the College of Economists of Catalonia.

The award ceremony will be held during "The Night of Economists", which will be held on Monday, July 6 at 7 p.m. at CaixaFòrum Barcelona (Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 6-8 – Barcelona)
