New English and French Courses: see the information for the second semester

In the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic the language Service is offering new courses in English and French:
- in addition to the B1 and B2 English classes we have designed another course for level C1, Prepare for C1. This is a flexible course with 20 hours of classes and 30 hours of individual study to prepare for the certificate at this level.
- Academic English is another new course which will help you to develop skills to understand and communicate academic information, This course comprises 20 hours of classes and 30 hours of individual study.
- Speaking Practice is a 20-hour online French conversation class for students who are unable to do regular courses but want to keep up their level.
From February you will be able to join annual 104-hour courses in German at levels A1 and A2, and in English at levels B1 and C1.2. In the case of the English courses this offers a broader choice of days and class times. See the section Levels, dates and timetables for German and English.
For the second year, in the second semester we are offering the Introduction to German course. All our regular courses are also on offer:
- English and Catalan courses for teaching staff (PDI)
- Courses to support thesis writing in English and Catalan
- Preparation for level C2 in Catalan
- French and Italian courses
- Free workshops with credit recognition
- Online courses for English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian
- Catalan and Spanish as a foreign language.
PLEASE NOTE: during the second semester, courses will be taught online, by videoconference. The Language Service may resume normal on-site teaching when the UAB decides to revert to this format.
