Discounts on Vallès Symphony Orchestra concerts at the Palau de la Música
The UAB signed an agreement with the Vallès Symphony Orchestra in which university community members will receive a discount price on concert tickets.

On Saturday 8 October, the Vallès Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the Palau de la Música. Thanks to an agreement reached with the UAB, tickets will have a 20% discount for all members of the university community (students, staff, and alumni).
This discount will be applied to all concerts performed by the Vallès Symphony Orchestra at the Palau de la Música. This year's full programme can be viewed at the Palau de la Música website. The promotional code for the discount is UAB_OSV2223 and once it is entered, buyers must follow a series of instructions.
For many years now, the Vallès Symphony Orchestra has worked closely together with the UAB Choir and Orchestra, performing together in such important occasions as was the concert held for the UAB's 50th anniversary.
The Vallès Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1987 as part of the Association of Friends of the Opera of Sabadell. It is the only orchestra of this type in Spain to have been founded as a limited company. In other words, its 53 members are also the 53 owners of the orchestra. It is the only privately-owned professional orchestra in the country, where its musicians and management team are also employees and shareholders. In September, James Ross became the orchestra´s conductor. The orchestra currently offers more than 100 concerts per season, most of them held at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
