Awards for the best Bachelor Thesis with a gender perspective at the UAB

The Servei d’Igualtat i Diversitat (Equality and Diversity Service) of the UAB invites the entire university community to attend the award ceremony for the best Final Degree Thesis with a gender perspective at the UAB, which will take place on April 22 at 12:30 p.m., in the Rectorate Hall.

From our School we congratulate Itziar Cruz Alpuente, a student of Business and Technology, and Alba Ibáñez Ballesteros, a student of ADE+Law, for having been awarded in this call for Final Degree Thesis with a gender perspective.

Itziar's work “Women's participation in the boards of directors of large companies” and Alba Ibáñez's “Gender equality in the governing bodies of Spanish companies” focus on the role of women in management and decision-making positions within companies.

These awards aim to raise awareness among students about gender equality and non-discrimination by fostering their interest in research. We also want to incorporate the gender perspective into teaching and promote gender as a reason for interest in research and study at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
