50th symposium of the Spanish Economic Association

Since 1975, the Symposium on Economic Analysis (SAEe) has brought together experts from all fields of economics every December. It has also served as a dynamic platform for doctoral students to present their research and, for many years, has hosted the Doctoral Job Market.

During its first 25 editions, the Symposium was held at the Bellaterra campus of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), organized by the Department of Economics and the Institute of Economic Analysis-CSIC. Later, it became part of the newly created Spanish Association of Economics and since then it has been hosted by several universities throughout Spain.

To celebrate the 50th edition, the SAE returns to Bellaterra, to the campus where it all began.
