Knowledge
- Describe the paradigms, approaches, and methodological designs of educational research.
- Identify different lines of research in the various fields of research in education.
- Identify problems and respond to educational needs through innovative approaches.
- Recognize the ethical principles of research in the development of studies in the field of education.
Skills
- Develop an exhaustive review of the scientific literature according to the topic of research and/or innovation.
- Develop the design and select the methodology most consistent with the research objectives.
- Design and develop fieldwork, the different techniques and instruments for collecting information.
- Analyze different types of data according to their nature.
- Present a research project adapting the record to the type of scientific communication (report, article, contribution to conferences, monograph, poster, videos, etc.).
Competences
- Formulate a research problem and formulate its questions and objectives.
- Adopt methodological quality criteria in research.
- Contrast the research data with the objectives of the study and the body of knowledge available to draw conclusions.
- Propose proposals for improvement and/or innovation projects based on the evidence obtained through research.
- Research or innovate in order to ensure that its social, economic and environmental impact contributes to the development of a more accessible, sustainable, diverse and just society that respects human rights.
- Research or innovate by assessing possible inequalities based on sex/gender, ethnicity or any other circumstance.
