New tickets and fares 2020

The entities making up the Metropolitan Transport Authority: Barcelona City Council, the Generalitat Government of Catalonia, and Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), have agreed to lower prices of frequent-use tickets from this January onwards to promote intensive use of public transport and to make daily travel more economical on the metro, bus, train and tram.
The following new tickets are highlighted:
T-Casual. A single-person timed ticket for 10 journeys on any means of transport within the integrated system, for the number of zones purchased (maximum charge 6 zones).
T-Usual. A non-transferable single-person ticket with an unlimited number of journeys on any means of transport within the integrated system, for 30 consecutive days as of the first use, for the number of zones purchased (max. 6 zones). Must be accompanied by a valid official identification card of the holder.
T-Jove. A non-transferable single-person ticket for users under age 25, for an unlimited number of integration journeys, for 90 consecutive days. The price of this ticket has been reduced, respect to 2019, by 25%.
