Annual flu shot campaign underway
From 11 November to 20 December the UAB Healthcare Service will hold its annual influenza vaccine campaign addressed to all members of the university community (staff and students), especially those at a high risk of developing flu-related complications.
New UAB Equality Commission created
Green light for the creation of an Equality Commission, delegated by the Governing Council, which will be in charge of coordinating the university's Equality Plans, and of promoting and supervising prevention and action policies in possible discriminatory situations, attitudes, etc.

The UAB Festa Major will take place on Thursday 7 November. Student stands, entities' fair, musical performances, workshops, and other activities will be held under this year's slogan: "Climate Emergency: the UAB Acts!".

The tribute to the retirees and emeritus staff of the faculty took place on October 10 around 17:30 h, in the Aula Magna. It began immediately after the inaugural lesson with emotional words from the dean of the faculty, Mª José Recoder.
