TransMedia Catalonia is part of the Learning Planet Festival!

 

TransMedia Catalonia is honoured to announce its selection to be a part of the Learning Planet Festival, funded by UNESCO and the Learning Planet Institute. 

Inside the festival, TransMedia Catalonia will host an online webinar titled "Smart and Accessible Tools for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)" during the celebration of Education Day on January 24, 2024, from 13:00 to 14:30.

What to Expect:

• Exploration of ESD: the webinar will delve into the concept of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and its implementations in diverse educational contexts.
• Innovative tools: participants will have the opportunity to explore tools developed as part of the GreenSCENT project, including an augmented reality app for a comprehensive understanding of air quality and tube sensors for practical implementation both in schools and homes.
• Youth engagement: the Agorize challenge will be presented as a means of fostering student agency, encouraging concrete steps towards sustainable education.
• Accessibility in climate change education: The ClearClimate project will be introduced, emphasizing its main goal of increasing accessibility in climate change education.
