Political Documentation

The Documentation Centre on Communication (CEDOC), located in the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives, contains more than 36,000 documents, including books, leaflets, posters and political stickers, and more than 9,000 magazine titles. It is a collection for the analysis of the contemporary political situation in Catalonia and Spain. The documents collected come from various organisations: political parties, trade unions, neighbourhood associations, NGOs, municipal entities, civic entities and social movements. The centre has documents from local, regional and general election campaigns, the European Parliament and referendums.
