From October 19th to 25th, the International Open Access Week 2025 will take place, with the theme The Cost of Knowledge
From October 19th to 25th the International Open Access Week, an annual initiative to promote open access (OA) in the academic and research world celebrated around the world. This year’s theme, The Cost of Knowledge, invites us to reflect on a crucial question: if knowledge is a fundamental human right, why does the cost of accessing and sharing it continue to increase year after year?
The UAB organizes several activities to promote open access:
- Step by step: practical workshop to deposit research data in CORA.RDR
- Do you need to apply for a research period recognition from ANECA or AQU? Come to the informative session
- 2nd Open Science Day
