The Humanities Library opens two new exhibitions this September

The first exhibition has been installed on the ground floor of Building L, coinciding with the celebration of the 8th Ibero-American Congress of Egyptology. Entitled “Saqqara: Snapshots of an Archaeological Mission”, the display cases feature a selection of bibliographic materials, while the ramp showcases photographs taken by the mission’s three photographers: Patricia Mora Riudavets, Albert Triviño Massó and Lluís Tudela. The images bear witness to the work and experiences accumulated over all these years in Saqqara.

The second exhibition, “The Languages of Babel”, can be visited in the display cases on the ground floor, next to the lift. The exhibition has been prepared to mark the European Day of Languages, celebrated every year on 26 September. This observance aims to raise awareness of the importance of language learning and the protection of linguistic heritage.

Both exhibitions can be visited throughout September at the Humanities Library.
