Arnau Soler Costa completed a degree in Environmental Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management, also at the UAB.

His passion for nature photography began at the age of 13, although a few years before acquiring his first camera he had already developed an interest in ornithology and nature in general.

He has participated in several editions of the ExpoNaturaUAB competition, winning the 2025 edition.

In recent years, he has focused particularly on camera trapping and the use of sensors, which allow him to capture the natural behaviors of the species he is able to photograph.

The exhibition we present is one of his most recent works. It features photographs of the nocturnal behavior of a range of species. Birds: Tawny Owl (Strix aluco), Tengmalm's Owl (Aegolius funereus), Scops Owl (Otus scops), Little Owl (Athene noctua), and Barn Owl (Tyto alba). Mammals: Beech Marten (Martes foina), Genet (Genetta genetta), Lesser Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus hipposideros), and Greater Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum).

Until May 15.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
