New booths for videoconferencing
To meet the demand for individual spaces for holding video conferences without disturbing the silence of the library, two new booths designed for this purpose have been installed in the Science and Technology Library and the Social Sciences Library.
These spaces are designed for academic activities such as working in teams virtually, practicing presentations, holding online meetings, or communicating with faculty.
In addition to being soundproofed, the booths have height-adjustable tables, independent lighting, ventilation, and plugs.
One of the booths is located in the General Room of the Science and Technology Library, and the other in the Journals Room of the Social Sciences Library.
Both can be booked for two-hour periods through the workspace booking website.
