"BiblioTips" Exhibition, at the Science and Technology Library
Discover our BiblioTips: practical tips to make better use of resources, use the search engine, know what materials you have on loan and how to locate documents easily.
This exhibition graphically demonstrates how to efficiently use the search engine to reserve books or broaden the search to request books or book chapters not available at the UAB but at other universities, among other things.
It also explains how to find books in the reading room using the catalog, locate the bibliography for a course, or search for documents on the same topic.
In addition, details are provided of the materials available for loan, such as headphones with USB or jack outputs, noise-canceling headphones, calculators, Android and iPhone mobile phone chargers, and pencil cases with markers and erasers.
A screen continuously projects "Library Tips," or useful advice we have compiled based on user needs identified through various methods (focus groups, wish trees, and satisfaction surveys).
This is a very practical exhibition for all users of our library and all UAB libraries. At the Science and Technology Library
