The UAB's Digital Document Repository (DDD) receives the FECYT Quality Seal

The Digital Document Repository of the UAB (DDD)  has been positively evaluated in the first edition of the quality assessment process for open access repositories, promoted by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) in collaboration with the Network of University Libraries (REBIUN).

This recognition grants the FECYT Quality Seal for Open Access Repositories, which certifies compliance with international quality standards and adherence to best practices in open science. 

The seal is valid for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

The evaluation considered aspects such as:

• Institutional policies on open access.
• Metadata quality and interoperability.
• National and international visibility of the repository.
• Digital preservation and quality assurance processes.

This recognition strengthens the UAB’s commitment to open science, transparency, and the visibility of the institution’s scientific output, positioning the DDD as a key infrastructure for research and knowledge transfer.
