Presentation and talk about the photographic exhibition "The kid who sold the world", by Dom Fernández: from idea to book
The event will take place on Monday, 6 October, at 4 p.m., at the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives

Photographer Dom Fernández will present his exhibition "The kid who sold the world" and give a talk about the project on Monday, 6 October, at the UAB Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives (Plaça Cívica).
The event, open to the entire university community, will begin at 4 p.m. at the COMTEC Centre (on the second floor of the library) and will continue in front of the exhibition itself, on the ground floor. It is organised in conjunction with the coordination of the subject "Theory and Technique of Photography" of the UAB's Interactive Communication degree.
During the event, Dom Fernández will explain the creative process he followed to develop this personal project, which revolves around childhood and the search for a place in the world, and which has culminated in the publication of a photo book.
"The kid who sold the world" can be visited from 1 September to 31 October 2025 on the ground floor of the library. More information about the exhibition.
Dom Fernández is a Barcelona-based photographer specialized in documentary photography. His work has been exhibited worldwide and has received numerous awards and recognitions, the latest of which have been a Silver Award at Px3 Prix de la Photographie Paris 2025 and an Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards 2025, both for the photobook of the project "The kid who sold the world".
