New offer of online self-training courses for the entire UAB university community

For the 2025-26 academic year, the UAB Libraries offer you the following self-training courses through the Virtual Campus: https://cv.uab.cat/ :

Get to know your Library: Are you curious about what the libraries have to offer? Join the 'Escape Room: Save the Library' course, featuring 9 missions, tests, and riddles that will help you discover all the services and resources available in an engaging way.

Tools and resources to carry out your academic work: The objective is that you have sufficient knowledge and tools to allow you to select, evaluate and use information for your academic work. You will find recommendations for searching for information, the main sources of information, tools for organizing and citing bibliographic references, tips for evaluating the quality of the information, as well as other useful resources.

• Estimated dedication: 8 hours.

PubMed: this platform is the most important bibliographic information resource for the area of ¿¿biomedicine and allied sciences: all health sciences, including psychiatry and psychology, as well as related life sciences. This course shows how to use the database and get the most out of it for research and study.
