The Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives launches the Video Game Service as an academic and entertainment resource
Located on the second floor of the library and open to the entire university community, the service offers video games and consoles for educational, experimental, and recreational use.

The Communication Library and General Newspaper Archive launches its new Video Game Service on September 15, coinciding with the start of the 2025-2026 academic year. This is an innovative initiative aimed at promoting the use of video games as an educational, experimental, and entertainment resource.
The new space, located on the second floor of the library, includes gaming consoles, online platforms, and a reading area with a specialized collection of books on video games.
The service is open to the entire university community, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The maximum capacity is four people.
Support for teaching and educational innovation
The Video Game Service was created to support teaching with educational resources and initiatives for pedagogical innovation, as well as to offer individuals the chance to play either alone or in groups.
The space allows users to experiment with different systems and a wide range of games, fostering both learning and socialization.
To use the space, reservations are required. The space is available for two-hour sessions, renewable for an additional two hours.
For reservations related to teaching and research support activities, it is necessary to contact the library in advance.
With this initiative, the library reaffirms its commitment to integrating new audiovisual formats into the academic sphere and promoting a creative and inclusive university environment.
