Summer Opening Hours at UAB Libraries
The UAB Libraries will adjust their opening hours during the summer period, from July 1st to August 31st (inclusive).

From July 1, summer opening hours begin at the UAB Libraries:
July:
- Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Communication and General Newspaper Library, Humanities, Medicine-Bellaterra, Sabadell University and Veterinary Libraries: open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Medicine-Vall d’Hebron Library: open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Medicine-Josep Laporte Library: open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Map Library and European Documentation Center: open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
August:
- UAB Libraries will remain closed from August 1 to 24, 2025 (both inclusive).
- From August 25 to 31: most libraries open, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (check the website).
From September 1, the usual opening hours will return.
The UAB Study Room (Social Sciences Library) will also change its opening hours:
July: open every day 24 hours.
August: open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
We remind you that it is necessary to be accredited with the UAB card to access the UAB Study Room.

The loan service is also adjusted during the summer period: from June 30, the return date for borrowed documents will be September 15.
