Lamote de Grignon Collection

Cristóbal Lamote de Grignon y Nicolau (1913–2006) was a distinguished doctor, neurologist and pioneer of neuropaediatrics in Catalonia and Spain. Throughout his professional career, he combined his clinical work with a deep interest in philosophy, neurology and an integrative understanding of the human being, becoming a leading figure in the fields of neurophilosophical anthropology and child neuropsychiatry.

Collection description: The Cristóbal Lamote de Grignon collection comprises a bibliographic collection of approximately 1,500 volumes, specialising mainly in the fields of neurophilosophical anthropology, neurology, paediatrics, psychology and the philosophy of mind. The collection constitutes a body of material of high academic value for research into the history of medicine, neuropaediatrics and cognitive science.
